This is How to Create Your Morning Ritual

1mr

Finally…

Let’s talk about how to put together a morning ritual that is targeted at gearing you towards the goals you want to achieve.

So, if you don’t have specific goals, now will be a right time to sit down and actually write down some goals.

Before we move on, you need to know that this is the last part in a series of posts about creating Morning Rituals that Rewires your replica rolex daytona mens rolex calibre 7750 116519 hands black dial china Mind for Success and Forces You to Be Productive

I will advice you to read the initial parts before moving ahead.

Click here to read part 2

Let’s Move On.

Like I said before, if you don’t have specific, identifiable goals that you want to achieve, then what I am about to explain here won’t work for you.

But wait!

Is it actually true that there are people reading this who don’t have specific, written down, measurable goals?

If you are one of such people, today is the day of repentance.

Pick up a sheet of blank paper and write down the goals you want to achieve on a monthly and yearly basis.

Once you have been able to put down the things you really want to achieve, now is the time nieuwe Vervangende Pod-cartridges to create morning activities that will fuel your mind and body to help you achieve them.

How?

As human beings, you need to know that our mind (including the brain) and our body basically control what we can achieve.

When these two are well built and work together, you will be able to achieve a lot.

But unfortunately, a lot of people walk around with clogged, dull minds and a tired body. No wonder they are unable to think clearly, come up with great ideas and execute them.

Regardless of what your goals are, I think there are certain activities that should be in everyone’s morning ritual.

This is my opinion anyway. It doesn’t mean it is 100% right.

The activities I am talking about are:

1. A word of prayer

Either you are an atheist, Muslim, Christian etc, it really helps when you wake up and pray to the higher self you believe in. This is not a religious post. So, I won’t say a lot here because this is based on your belief.

I am a Christian. So, when I wake up, the first thing I do is to play one of the worship songs on my phone. That goes on for 5 minutes while I sing and after, I pray for about 15 minutes.

NOTE: I am not saying you should pray for 15 mins everyday. I am only saying what I do. Yours may be longer.

2. Drink at least half a litre of water after getting out of bed.

Why?

There are various healthy reasons for drinking water on an empty stomach right after you wake up. It is one of the health rituals of Japanese people.

You can read more about it yourself on Google or start here

3. Rewrite Your Goals on a Pad Without Copying it:

What happens when you develop the habit of writing down your goals everyday?

You should ask me. I have known about this since 2006 but didn’t do it until last month. Between last month and now, you will be surprised about what is happening in my life.

The thing is, it is not just the act of writing that does the magic. This exercise forces you to think deep on your goals and what you can do to achieve them and when you do it consistently, it helps your brain to laser focus on coming up with ideas and resources that will help you achieve them.

Again, this sounds cheesy and you don’t have to do it but I have found out that it has helped me a lot.

4. Exercise For at Least 30 Minutes:

People think exercise is only for people who want to lose weight.

How wrong?

Exercise basically recharges your body by doing a lot of things.

One of them is the fact that it strengthens your heart to work better and pumps blood efficiently throughout your body. This enhances your metabolism, energizes you for the day and makes you feel great.

And do you know what happens when you feel great? It affects everything you do for that day including your rapport with other people.

5. Read/Watch/Listen to Something Inspiring:

Here we go.

Have a list of books, audios, videos that deliver powerful motivational messages to your soul every morning.

This stuff is solid.

Feed your soul. You are going to meet with a lot of obstacles out there.

What runs within your mind is what will help you to focus and continue.

Personally, I like to listen to messages from Joel Osteen or Les Brown, atimes I watch some motivation videos on Youtube or atimes, I just read books from Zig Ziglar, David Oyedepo and some authors whose books are really scarce.

These 5 morning activities are general and you can just start building your morning routine with these and they shouldn’t take you more than 90 minutes unless you want to extend some of the time for these things.

E.g. You may want to run or walk for 60 minutes every morning.

If you want to go further, this is what you do:

Think of your goals and think of activities that you can do in the morning that will help you create a habit or force that will move you closer to that goal.

Think Michael Phelps.

For an athlete who won the highest number of medals in the last Olympics, he wakes up by 6.30am to start exercises that prepare him for his goals.

What about if your goal is to build a better business?

How about if you focus on spending maybe 45 mins every morning brainstorming and creating action plans that will help you to move ahead.

What about if your goal is to become the next Don Jazzy?

What about if your goal is to lose some weight?

Here is a real life example.

Last month, I bought a very really great course on the art of pre-selling.

Pre-selling is a great marketing skill that can be used both online and offline to acquire a lot of sales, money and customers.

My goal is to get really good at getting strangers to buy from our websites and that is why I identified the preselling factor and made up my mind to get better at it.

So, for the last 2 weeks, I have been writing a 500 word presell article every morning as part of my routine.

No wonder I was able to make 200 sales from a single presell article I ran online some days ago.

And I am still sharpening the skill.

The same will happen to you once you start.

I believe you got the gist.

CONCLUSION:

Remember hack number 2 for self discipline. Don’t try to bite too big in the beginning or else the whole thing might look too difficult.

Instead, start with at least 2 activities and keep adding more once you have been able to consistently do the ones you started with.

E.g You can start with just praying, drinking water and rewriting down your goals list.

That won’t take more than 300 minutes depending on how long your prayer time is.

Once you have that down consistently for about 30 days, it is time to add maybe another one or two.

And keep moving on that way.

I believe this is well explained but if you have questions, please drop in the comment box below:

NOTE: The fact that you do this does not mean your goals will just show up. There are still other actions you need to take in order to achieve your goals. But the discipline of the morning rituals recharges your mind and body to take those actions.

P.S – You might have to wake up earlier so that you can have enough time for your morning routines. In order to do this, you need to sleep earlier so that you can have enough rest. These won’t work if you don’t sleep enough.
